癒されたいならペットを飼った方が手っ取り早い。

虚しいというのなら、恋愛だって同じくらいに虚しいだろう。

結婚の果てに構築される「家族」の価値が暴落している。
養われたいけど介護はしたくないというのなら、嫁に使う金を貯蓄あるいは投資して老後に備えた方がよっぽど合理的だ。
子供は労働力だった。産んで育てれば見返りが期待できた。
しかし今や、数千万という教育費をかけて大学を出したところで就職は不確実だし、将来自分を養ってくれる望みは薄い。

ちなみにそこまで「家族」というものに対して否定的な僕が、なぜ結婚したのかといえば、「生活」と「趣味」にプラスして、「仕事」の面でも支えてくれる相手だったからだ。ある意味、昔で言う農家の嫁とか、家族経営で商店を営んでる感じに近いものがある。
